Omaha Sewer and Water Projects
PROBLEM: Omaha is facing a huge unfunded mandate in the sewer separation project. Taxpayers and businesses have unanswered questions about how this project is going to be funded. The project represents a tough management test to see how our local leaders will proceed to implement and fund this project.
SOLUTION: The Alliance would like to see any decisions about the enormously expensive project vetted according to the principles we espouse: authority, responsibility, accountability, and transparency.
